Now Offering In-House Dialysis

Maria Joseph Nursing and Rehabilitation, with Concerto Dialysis, now offers in-house dialysis to those who reside at our skilled nursing facility. Our new 12-bay, state-of-the-art unit offers comfortable seating for stretcher or chair needs with bedside computers for games and more to stay busy while receiving treatment.

Benefits of our Program

• Trained renal staff and a Nephrologist that follow patient care during their stay.
• Convenience by removing the challenge of transporting residents off-site for treatments.
• Less disruptive to the resident's daily schedule, allowing them to enjoy other activities, planned therapies, meals, and/or rest.
• No waiting for hours to be treated or awaiting transportation to and from resident's treatment.
• Those in need of peritoneal dialysis will continue to receive this service in the comfort of their room.

Renal failure is a common medical affliction that often affects people with chronic kidney conditions or age. It occurs when the kidneys are no longer able to filter waste products from the blood. Hemodialysis allows treatment to help clear waste and excess water from the blood.
